Yoga nidra promotes deep rest and relaxation that typically isn't found in your average meditation practice. The stages of body scan, visualization, sense perception, intention setting and breath awareness are practiced to calm the nervous system, leading to less stress and better health. Yoga Nidra is also know to help ease the symptoms of chronic pain, anxiety, PTSD and other forms of trauma. This class is provided virtually to give students optimum comfort as they progress through the practice of Yoga Nidra.
